The same goes for me too man. Everytime I go to a gamestop, I see a list of people that are waiting to pre order the PS3. The List is HUGE. There is one gamestop, that has a list for a LIST of people wanting to pre order. Its crazy. The Ps3 is not geared towards kids, its from 18+.

I am at work, at cant see the screens, but the way you guys are reacting, the game looks like it has really improved. The game was a joke when it first came out, and now it sounds like it ahs really become a contender. Just watch people, tekken 6, warhawk, and the other games, they will look insane!! All the 360 fans can tlak about is gears of war, that will be great, but the PS3 has a much better holiday lineup. This is going to be awesome. The return of the King(PS3)!!!
Lets just wait until we see gameplay. Yes, it was realtime scenes shown so far, but I honestly hope the game can live up to its hype. As of now, I am taking it at face value, that it was some great direction, and realtime tech demo, but it doesnt mean that the game will look like this during gameplay, although I am praying to god it will.

The launch of Gears Of War will be overshadowed by the PS3 Launch, not the other way around, its a mistake for them to launch it so close to the PS3 launch.

Gears Of Wart might be great to you, but tis not all that. Ressitance looks better to me. Heavenly Sword looks sweet, Motorstorm just looks awesome, Tekken will be amazing, look at what tehy did on the PSP in Dark ressurection, you think it wont look awesome on ps3? because there wont be that much demand for it. The demand is going to be for PS3 and Wii. Yes, there will be shortages, ofcourse, but thats because the demand is going to be very high. People that come in to buy a PS3 or Wii, and find that its not there, aren not going to say, Oh well then I will pick up something I didnt want, they will just wait for it. You know that the launch of the 360 was a debacle, the wii and PS3 launch will be much better.
Will be a big hit, a very big HIT, among the 360 FANS and owners. But, it will not Stop people from buy the PS3, because its hardware which will be the big ticket item on the XMAS list, not software. Also, by xmas, PS3 will have some sweet games. This does not affect the PS3 sales at all. 360 hardware will come in third this season, its old news now.

The rest have just sucked. EA is just a money hugry machine that cranks out more sequals than a friday the 13th movie.
and they might not sell as much as they did the PS2, but only time will tell. We'll know 6 years from now, when the life span will be equal to that of the PS2. The price will certainly go down by then, or maybe even a year or 2 from now. But that still doesnt negate the fact, that people are WAITING to purchase the PS3, even if you did talk to a few people that think its very expensive.
